Is it possible to load ''init preset'' in some way to start sounds from scratch? I have used it with a sample to see how the sound was made but I would like to replicate it from scratch and it only gives random options. greetings
Thanks for the Mods! Great additions to an already great and inspiring synth.
How do you get these?
Id buy it if a bit cheaper, 150 is quite alot....😢
good demo
Your synthesizer is cool, of course, but it does not reach the price of $ 150, do you know why? At least because it does not transpose well... here you load a sample into it, it generates a similar sound, select the generated sound, try to play and it turns out that it is more or less normal to play only in the range of ~ three octaves, above the loud distortion begins, and the bass notes also become terribly distorted. Are you going to do something about it? For now, it transposes the sound a little better than a regular sampler. -_-
Awesome new version of a great virtual synth. So creative, musical, and fun. Love it!!
It is not an overstatement to say that the genopatch tech is revolutionary. The industry has already changed forever.
Ur magnufusent! Best vst ive ever had! just a request for a next mod: 'a copy to all siblings' like feature, so lets say that u can lock parameters for all the branches to a certain pitch, so even if i stretch and morph the branches the pitch would stay the same but the sonic qualities totally change, now its always a bit to tricky to launch it in a liveset and this way you could make it 'a bit' more predictable. Oh, and please magnus, please, make the change seed knob in the center midi assignable!!!! these would upgrade my allready most favourite vst so much!!! much love!!
Thanks for the feedback. If you turn Atonality all the way down, the pitch will typically stay the same in a predictable manner.
why the hell arent these standard functions?
The point of making these as mods is that we can try out features and see how they fit into the update roadmap of the main product. This way we can offer early access to technology in between official updates.
Skyrim VST
u guys got plans to make a new microtonic drum synth? i mean if there was ever a time to make it now would be that time
Evolving Beautiful. This is extending MPE functionality with sonic fluidity. Nice one . Cheers 👾
I think these mods are great and should be included/enabled by default!
Thanks. Yeah, the point of having mod capability is that we can try out features and see how they fit into the update roadmap of the main product.
does this mean we can mine bitcoin in synplant now?
Haha, in theory the JS engine could run a miner yes, *but* it would run at like one millionth of the speed of a dedicated ASIC miner. I wouldn't recommend it. 😉
@@soniccharge Haha, so many possibilities
Very nice, thanks a lot! What i love to see would be a "random button" on the Synplant but i think i would go over the edge ;)
Did you try command-clicking (mac) or control-clicking (win) the "seed"?
@@soniccharge ... ai, its already there ... thanks for showing me the dice! :}
This is very cool. Can we expect to see full MPE compatibility any time soon? Literally the only thing stopping me from buying your fantastic software right now...
mods rule. awesome. ~thx
This is incredible. Becoming one of my favourite sound design tools
Mixing branches across patches is a game changer for me, hopefully I will come to really appreciate that mod happening
Great job ❤
awesome!! thank you!
The best!
WOW!
dude you are the best. Appreciate everything you do for the producer community. Much love <3
Very cool. Thank you for explaining.
Nice! do users get an email when an update is available? Because i didnt get one
We are about to email now. But you can go here to download them already: soniccharge.com/forum/topic/2883-synplant-2-official-mods
wow...nice stuff nice work nice code... :)
Absolutely fantastic ❤ my favourite developer of 15 years! Never fails. Love Sonic Charge. Genius coders.
great additions! thanks!
Can you morhp between two presets like on a Polybrute. Not individual hits but he hole instruments, like a synth pad to a piano ?
Yes and no. Synplant has always been about morphing sounds via the branches. Either by dragging them individually or using the mod wheel to change them all. To have all keys perform the same morph, you can clone the branch to all keys, and with "grafting," you get full control over that morph. So yes, it can morph from, e.g., a pad to a piano, all over the keyboard. *But* there are some parameters that are global and not per branch. E.g. eq, distortion settings, reverb room size. These will not morph.
Great stuff!
super nice
7:05 - Jean Michel Jarre would get goosebumps.
Heck yeah, thats something to sink in for a while.
Oh cool! This is great stuff. Expanding upon the existing features and adding new functionality.
Great additions
Great!
I've found myself using synplant 1 more, because the randomizing seed in the middle gives better sounds. Idk... it's odd but I feel like I get more interesting sounds vs 2.
That is interesting. Synplant 1 has a subset of the parameters of Synplant 2, and obviously, Synplant 2 can create all the sounds of Synplant 1. But maybe you preferred the subset of sounds that Synplant 1 created.
There are a few max for live devices that allow to randomize chosen parameters of any VST. The fact that you can pick which parameters are randomized lets you control the type of randomness you want to generate.
@@soniccharge yeah i think because there is more being randomized, that the sounds become more unusable for me. I've noticed the effects stayed pretty similar when randomizing on SP1.
Great work, thank you 🙏 A Synplant suggestion for you is a Performance Garden: A square tray where you can plant 2 or more seeds/branches you copy from the main plant, then use X/Y modulation to morph between them. I think it would be really fun and creative and really plays to the strengths of the morphing engine you have created.
nice!
Excellent! Need to have a look tomorrow. :) Also, your screen background/wallpaper… Beksiński?
Haha, no. It's one of the AI-generated backdrops that I made for my Jamuary series. Beksiński is awesome, though.
I love you
Awesome!
Good job!
So cool! So many possibilities for morphing different patches!!! Or using velocity to play different patches! Please can you think of a Mod to have more than 16 Program Change? Or maybe a feature to switch between favorites via MIDI?
Cool you made the DNA like a "Jupiter notebook"
<3
Nice!
Thanx!
